About Us

An independent EV charging directory for Australia

We're not affiliated with any charging network. Our job is simple: give Australian EV drivers one place to find stations, check what's actually there, and plan trips that go further than a single charge.

Every state & territory All major networks Free to use
Not owned by any charging network
Connector type & power level detail
Journey planner for longer trips

How it works

Three things you can do right now.

01

Find nearby stations

Enter a suburb, postcode, or address to see charging stations on an interactive map. Filter by connector type, network, or power output.

02

Compare stations

Each station shows connector standards, power levels, network operator, and availability signals, so you know what to expect before you arrive.

03

Plan longer trips

Use the journey planner to map a route with charging stops along the way. Enter your origin and destination. We'll suggest where to charge.

EV charging station in Australia

Why we built this

When we started using EVs ourselves, we kept running into the same frustration: every charging network had its own app, station data was inconsistent, and nothing gave a clear picture of what was actually available along a route.

So we built our own. ev-charging-stations.com.au is not tied to any network. It's an independent directory that covers charging infrastructure across Australia and aims to give you the detail you actually need before you plug in.

Multi-network coverage

We index stations from major networks and independent operators across Australia, not just one provider.

Connector-level detail

Filter by CCS, CHAdeMO, Type 2, and more, with power output shown so you know if a stop suits your vehicle.

Route-aware planning

The journey planner suggests charging stops based on your actual route, not just straight-line distance.

Regularly refreshed

Station data is updated on a regular cadence to keep coverage current as the network expands.

Where we're headed

Australia's charging network is growing quickly. New stations, new networks, new connectors. We're continuously updating coverage and improving the tools to reflect that.

If you've spotted a missing station, have a data correction, or just want to share feedback, we genuinely want to hear from you.
